BGB400k overnight staging May 22
The start time for the Backroads of the Great Basin 400k, Friday May 22, has been moved to 11:00AM. This will allow an overnight sleep stop in Nephi at mile 155, with the remaining 95 miles to be ridden starting early Saturday morning. A 400k has a 27 hour time limit, so with the 11:00AM Friday start, the time limit will be 2:00PM Saturday afternoon.
This staging will allow most riders to get into Nephi not too late, sleep about 6 hours, and still finish the brevet well within the time limit.
