Salt Lake City airport has a great light rail (TRAX) connection to downtown, and to commuter rail (FrontRunner), as well as a good bike path from the airport into the city. Car rental, car share, and taxi is also available.
Oversized luggage is by the wall next to regular luggage pick up.
To TRAX, exit the airport terminal at door 1A and turn left towards the train platform. Bikes can roll onto any TRAX train, and the airport is the end of the line so there’s always plenty of room. There is only one line going one direction, so if there is a train there, that’s your train. For general navigation within Salt Lake City, the big mountains are to the east, and the distant (smaller) mountains are to the west.

To ride directly into town on the airport bike path, go past the TRAX platform and follow this route.

Frontrunner is the train that runs North-South from Provo to Ogden, with airport Trax connections at the North Temple Station, down the stairs. Look for the train car with the bike symbol to bring your bike on board.
